The Transfer Process:
We offer customers a true telecine style film to DVD transfer service that can only be surpassed by top-end, expensive transfer houses. We use a custom designed and fabricated projector featuring a unique PulseGate Technology to create super 8 and regular 8mm transfers that offer the breathtaking clarity that can only come from frame by frame scanning. Every super 8mm or regular 8mm frame of your footage is individually scanned directly to an imaging camera with a 1/2 inch CCD chip, capable of 380,000 pixels and 480 lines of resolution. And this signal is in turn, sent straight to a computer hard drive for processing. The gate on the projector is enlarged to give us access to 100% of the original film frame and our unique, super bright, cool LED light source provides rich, vibrant colors with zero hot spot and no chance of burning film. Frame by frame scanning means your transfers are 100% flicker free, crystal clear and razor sharp from corner to corner. To top it all off, the projector utilizes a sprocketless drive that assures no damage is done to your priceless footage during transfer.
Delivery of Finished Project
Normal turnaround is approximately 30 days, depending on our workload. As always, we will do whatever we can to accommodate your work schedule, but specific delivery times are not guaranteed unless prior arrangements have been made in writing via email. Please contact us before sending in your footage if you require specific delivery times, especially if you are facing a tight deadline for a particular project. If in doubt, the best advice is to call us and talk one on one with our personnel.

| All footage is cleaned, re-spliced, and color corrected. Small, 50 foot reels are spliced together onto brand new reels (no larger than 400 feet) to expedite the transfer process, which takes place one frame at a time. All original materials that were submitted to us at the time of transfer are returned when the transfer has been completed. | |||
