My transfer services are offered here in Fairfield. It may be cheaper to send your media away, but the hassles and uncertainty of doing that are definitely not worth it. You can call me anytime to discuss your project and make necessary modifications.
3I know what I'm doing.
Because I keep up with the latest media archiving technologies, I am able to offer my expertise to customers who may need to save older media: photos, 8mm film, video, or slides; and transfer them to more durable media. If an event was important enough for you to take time to photograph or film, DVDs, Blu-ray and hard drives offer a more lasting option to save these memories.
5Every project is a hand-crafted project.
Clients come to Vintage Images to have me create a completely custom presentation from their original media. I created presentations for Mitzvah's, Anniversaries, Birthday parties and Memorial events. The DVDs we deliver contain the images of friends and family and is set to music that means something to that client and are typically shown at these momentous events and gatherings where the guests can look back and reflect on those special times.
2I believe your media deserves the white-glove treatment.
Any project that comes into my studio is thoughtfully handled and stored with the utmost care. A transfer warehouse can not guarantee that level of service. When we transfer films in house we meticulously hand-clean, every inch of film to ensure a quality transfer. Dust is delicately blown off of any media that we observe debris on. We do this whenever possible and will only forgo the process if we feel it will jeopardize the media itself.
4I do the work. It's what you are paying me for.
What those one-box-fits-all transfer offers you see at the discount wholesale operations or online don't tell you is that what they advertise as "easy" is not really easy at all. What they don't tell you is that you will need to organize and label every piece of media, pack it, make a printing slip and track it, all on your own. It is a big job and we know because we do that work for our clients. There are instances where it is more cost-effective to our clients to send a project to our affiliate company to do the transfer, but we are the ones doing the up-front work, not you.
6You are in control.
There is no "shoehorning" your transfer into templates. With Vintage Images we carefully analyze and recommend the best delivery option for you based on what you ultimately want to do with your transfer project and how much you want to invest in it.
